Western Powerline Trail
Today was the opening of Western Powerline Trail Park in downtown Gilbert that Aaron designed. This is just on of the 3 water features that he designed. Yes, he did it all, down to each bolt holding it together. This job has been going on for several years and has caused tons of grief, but all worth it. It turned out amazing. Gilbert now has great public art and beautiful parks to enjoy downtown. This is my favorite water feature of the 3. I have to say my husband is AMAZING at what he does. Sometimes I give him a hard time about what he does all day, (he knows way too much random information) but he really does work...heehee. Aaron, congratulations on the completion of the parks in Gilbert, I am so proud of you and your work. You show true talent. Thanks to everyone for supporting him and J2 and joining us for the opening of the parks.
Sleeping?
I just thought this was a cute picture of baby Lane. I can't believe how much he is changing everyday.

Day 2 A Success!
This is our celebration picture. We made it though another day with no accidents. Does that make it official? Is he Potty Trained? We stayed home from Rolly Pol
This one's for Anjee
Baby Lane's Safety
I feel like much of my day is dedicated to keeping baby Lane safe. Notice in the photo, now you understand. I really can't leave him anywhere. The minute I turn around Zackary (and Aaron, heehee) is trying something, all with good intentions, he is just being a 2 yr old (30 yr old). He doesn't quite grasp the concept of being gentle or personal space when it comes to Lane. Lane is tough though, watch out for paybacks someday! I busted out the bumbo today, works great! These are the best little chairs, they are perfect for this age when they can't do much but are interested in everything and attempting to be social. Lane our little social guy loved it.

Day 1 A Success!
Today was Day 1 of Potty Training Boot Camp. I call it this because...Cold Turkey, we have no diapers or pull ups. I have never been one to follow a book, but this one just clicked with me. We are only wearing a shirt and big boy underwear. Today went GREAT! NO ACCIDENTS! We only had a dribble in one pair of underwear. The book said to have 20-30 pairs on hand, me, oh prepared one, had 9, but a proud mommy, we only used 2. Diego and Spiderman were the favorites today. We also have some boxer briefs that might be the cutest things I have ever seen. It will be interesting tonight, Diego underwear and jammies only. Wish us luck.
Baby Blues
This picture just doesn't do him justice, he has beautiful baby blues. His eyes matched his little jammies and blanket. You can see the little grin under the pacifier. This is just after he rolled over. I'm not sure if it counts but it happened twice right in a row. I'm second guessing because the first time I thought "oh I must not have put you all the way on your tummy?" I rolled him back over and again he was on his back shortly after. Sounds like it was a first to me? .JPG)
You gotta love Otis joining in on the blanket outside.
