Dust Devil Park

Well, he did it again.  My main squeeze created another amazing park for everyone  people on the Westside to enjoy.  We, however, got to enjoy the opening morning at the park with the kids.  I love taking tours of his creations.  He amazes me every time.  They always get better too.  Here are some pictures I took with my trusty iPhone.

Little do most people know that there is a meaning behind everything he designs.  I love to hear about all the features that most people don't get the explanation about.  I guess I'm just the lucky one.

As you can see there was a pretty amazing turn out for the grand opening.
There is even a skate park
Oh, and my cute little muffin having a blast on the swing.
Congrats Aaron on another beautiful park!

A Farewell to Big Betty

For all of you that know Big Betty...  It was a tragic loss on Halloween.  She was all dressed up and ready to go.  Just don't judge my cat face.  We really can only have one creative and artistically talented person in the house.  And we all know who that it...so back to the point.  She was happily sitting (so I thought) in a chair cup holder.  You know, the super comfy lawn chairs with built in cup holders.  Well all the sudden she just decided to jump... It was all over from there.  I had no one to blame it on but myself.  No one was near.  Perhaps she had felt neglected over the past few months, I'm not sure.   I can only wonder.
Beautiful Betty, her costume, and my wine, gone, forever...
We had to have the proper final picture.
Oh how I will miss Betty.

Halloween 2012

We had another amazing Halloween this year.  We did our standard block party with our wonderful neighbors and family.  We get tons of pizza, drinks, and candy have have a good time.

Here is some of the little kid crew.

My littles all dressed up.

This costume is so fitting for Aaron.  He can totally pull it off.

Here are some more of the little kid crew.

And the big boys.  You can't tell me this isn't the best neighborhood and best Halloween party ever.

Little missy stopping for a bite of candy.  She figured this trick or treating thing out pretty fast.

Happy Halloween!

Sunday Sync

Ugh, yes, that is marker all over her face and paint all over her body.
Oh, and her attempting to pee with Lane outside (with pants on).

Meet Cash

We officially adopted an amazing dog from a friend of mine.  He is an 8 year old Chocolate Lab.  And maybe the best dog ever.  He listens, he is great with the kids, and is past all the challenging puppy phases.  We weren't in the market for a new dog, but have talked about having a bigger dog someday.  Everything happened so fast, I guess it was meant to be.

The kids absolutely love him.  He is so much more interactive with them than Otis is.

Little missy is in love.  Although she is at perfect whacking height for his tail, she has quickly learned to duck and block her head when he walks by her wagging his tail.

We all already love him.  He fits so perfectly into our family.
