Butter

Aaron and I were making dinner and visiting. Zackary was playing and scooting his chairs all over the kitchen to see everything that was going on (who knew that when we bought a little set of table and chairs that they would be used all over the house to reach everything). We both turned around to find about 12 different spoons and small knives mashed into the butter, luckily the ones he chose were small butter knives. He thought it was the greatest thing and asked both of us if we wanted any to eat right off the knife.

Yummm Butter!

Sitting!

It's official, today. Lane decided he wanted to sit today. The last few days he has been getting close. But I'm going to say today is the day. He sat long enough for me to actually capture the moment. My baby is growing up so fast, he is one week shy of 6 months. I'm not sure where the last 6 months have gone?

Bath Time

I moved Lane into the sink for bath time. He was way too big for the tub in the sink. He enjoyed splashing and having a little extra room. I just can't get enough of the chub. He is getting bigger everyday!

Portland

Aaron had a conference and awards banquet in Portland last week for Water Tower Park. He received an award for urban plazas. Congratulations Aaron and J2! I got to join Aaron for the second half of his trip, we had a great time seeing the city and having some 'not rushed' dinners. It has been awhile since we have been away, it was great to get to spend a few days together. We crashed with Linda and Todd for a night and got to spend some time with them. We headed out for wine tastings on Friday. This was our first trip to Oregon wine country...Yumm
As you can see we hit up the local cupcake shop Saint Cupcakes. We got a variety pack to share. The girls had us mark all the cupcakes that we wanted. Good thinking...we all got the ones we wanted.
These are my cousins Emma and Paige. They are the sweetest and most beautiful little girls. They are growing up so fast. I can't wait to seem them this summer.
