Impostors

This is impostor monkey. My mom bought it quite awhile ago after Zackary started getting attached to him. I didn't believe they were the same because impostor monkey was so cute, fluffy, soft, and clean. My mom finally brought it out the other day and gave it to Zackary when we left Monkey at home. It was so funny, he looked it over and over, felt how soft it was and was very skeptical. He wouldn't snuggle it, he just carried it around. When we got home he found Monkey and said "you have this one Mommy" It continues on, he wasn't quite ready to give up on impostor monkey (this is what he calls it). Aaron came up the stairs with both of them, Zackary pointed and said "no want that one, want that one." When he was going to bed, he wanted impostor monkey along with Monkeydog. About 15 minutes later we hear some crying at the top of the stairs "no want impostor monkey" then about 10 minutes later we hear "please have impostor monkey." He slept with him in bed, but he just isn't the same. The poor thing gets rejected all the time. Monkey is well loved!

Precious

This is just such a peaceful picture of Baby Lane. He was sleeping so peacefully in our bed yesterday morning. I just think it is such a precious picture.

Really?

Can you really resist these little ones? I know their mine but REALLY, that's all I can say. They are so stinkin cute. My new camera can truly capture the moment.

On our Way home

On our way home from the cabin we stopped in Payson to visit Grandma Mina. Zackary had a blast playing with all the "STUFF" all of those in my family understand what that means. She enjoyed seeing the babies and playing with them. We love you Grams!

After our drive we decided to stop at DQ for some ice cream and fun at Water Tower Park in Gilbert. What fun for the kids. They both enjoyed their ice cream!

Camping

Well this is about as close to camping as I get. A nice cabin with showers and beds! No really, we never went camping as kids. We headed up to Aunt Diane and Uncle Will's cabin last weekend for a little R & R. Lisa, Cory, and the girls joined us for some fun. This kids had so much fun and us adults enjoyed some fresh air and some time away from the grind. We did a lot of hiking and relaxing. As you can see we did capture some blackmail for the future with all the kids in the bath, Ryan is hiding behind Zackary in there somewhere.

We just couldn't seem to wear our Zackary, finally on our second hike he again, fell asleep on Aaron's shoulders and was carried back to the cabin fast asleep. Remember the days of sleeping where ever you finally crashed. We had a great time.

Oh Yah

I did it. I finally saved enough to get the new camera and I'm loving it. I was really excited to find out that all the lenses that Aaron has for his 35mm are interchangeable with the digital body. We are set, a few lenses and a camera that can better capture all the moments that pass us by so quickly. I have so many great shots to come, I just need to get them onto the computer, just wait... Yeah!

Tumbleweed Park

Last week Zackary, Lane, and I met Aunt Celia and Derek at Tumbleweed park for a play date. Zackary had so much fun playing with his cousin. I remember how much fun it was to have cousins my same age. They are now starting to actually play together.
This was the first time I could get Zackary to play on the tire swing. He is all about swings.
