Boat Rides

We celebrated Laura's (Aaron sister) birthday with friends and family.  We had a great evening with everyone and utilized a boat for some babysitting entertainment.  Sounds bad right?  Maybe a bad decision but the kids were so happy on the boat.
We went out for a ride around the lake and enjoyed the cool weather and good company.

St. Patty's

We had a pretty low key St. Patty's day this year.  The boys and I did the Amacocco Exhibit in the morning and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon at home.  We made cookies with delicious green frosting, had dinner with broccoli in it for some green, and I gave them Sprite with a little green food coloring in it to be festive.  They thought all the green was pretty fun.

AMACOCCO

The boys and I headed out to Amacocco with some friends to check out this traveling art piece.  Wow what a great experience.  The boys had a blast running through the tunnels and seeing all the vibrant colors.

Dinner with Friends

I've been a little behind on the blog front, I have been taking the pictures and have them uploaded, but just haven't had the chance to write about them.  I feel like I'm trying to get everything ready and am just spinning my wheels.  Anyways, Aaron prepared an excellent dinner, we had tons of food and thought inviting some friends over would be a great idea.  And as always we had tons of fun and all the kids had a blast together.

Prep

Aaron is in preparing a nice dinner for tomorrow night. He had planned on making it Sunday night and I got stuck at work later than planned. I can't wait to find out what is in store for me tomorrow night. I'm sure it will be delish. All I have to do is stick it in the oven and have it ready for when he gets home from work tomorrow night. Can it get any better than that?

34 Weeks

I'm in the last stretch of this pregnancy. 6 weeks max to go. It has gone by so fast. We are slowly getting things ready. The room is painted and crib is adjusted, bedding is washed and some of the decorations are hung in the nursery. I have been really good about not buying too many things, I have 2 showers next week and can't wait. I have such amazing friends, family, and coworkers to put on showers for me. I'm sure after those she will be well dressed and accesserized. I feel like my belly is getting so big, but I definetly feel smaller that I did with both boys.  Notice the bump on the top of my bump, that would be one of her extremities poking out.  What a crazy but amazing feeling.  I'm feeling really good, I have energy and I'm surely nesting. I really don't have too many complaints, just the typical feeling of the hips spreding, the occasional low back pain, and the pressure, but otherwise I'm able to chase my 2 littles around for the most part. I'm still working my long shifts at the hospital and plan to up until I deliver.
We decided on a name a few weeks ago...Chloe Faith
I love it and it feels so perfect. I can't wait to meet this little girl!

Painting

Yes, we spent another afternoon painting. These boys could paint all day if I had enough things for them to paint. We went to Hobby Lobby this morning to pick out some more little wooden toys and got some new paint. We enjoyed the beautiful spring afternoon and bonus...Oreo McFlurry and sundaes.
