Trucking right along, I'm now at 27 weeks, time is really flying by. I keep thinking I have a lot of time to get things ready and every week goes by and still nothing is ready. However, if you've been reading I've been doing some serious cleaning and purging. But this isn't getting girl/baby things ready... I'm feeling great despite a few pains here and there. It tends to depend on how much I do in one day. But this is to be expected. I am enjoying being pregnant. I love having a big belly, I wish food babies could be as cute.

Wrestle Mania
This is pretty much our house every night. 3 big boys wrestling. I have to admit I was a little nervous watching tonight. Boy are they getting rough. Zackary is running and jumping on Aaron from about 3 feet away, they slam into furniture and each other. Even Otis gets involved (licking them in the face).
What am I going to do with these boys?

Purging
This is what I like to call purging...maybe at this point it is nesting. I actually am a little embarrassed to post this on the blog but right now this is what is consuming my mind. I NEED TO GET RID OF EVERYTHING. Now, I am not the cleanest person out there but I like a little order and to be able to walk around. With kids I have had to let go a little and realize that being clean is not always going to happen. Wow I keep looking at this picture and can't believe my eyes. Believe it or not, this cluster has some organization to it. One pile is for Goodwill, one is of clothes that are cute but I just don't wear anymore, along with some shoes and hangers. A friend at work mentioned she gets rid of anything she hasn't worn in 2 years. I have adopted this policy and am sticking with it. I really just need 1 day to finish this project.
This pile is in the loft. It is from 2 weeks ago when I cleaned out 3 closets. I am considering having a trade/swap party with friends that need to purge too. We all probably have good stuff that others might want but just don't use it anymore. However, thinking about keeping all this stuff for a few more weeks makes me tick a little. We might just get an awesome tax deduction next year. Goodwill here we come.
Any thoughts on a trade/swap party?

Science Project
I know this is a lame picture for the day. But the day was a little hectic and filled with activities. We started off with a rushed trip to the grocery store to get the last few things for the science project, then to music class, home for a quick lunch, then off to Liz's to drop off Lane, then off to preschool for the afternoon. The project went great and all the kids loved the lab coats and the fact that they got to be scientists today. They all went home with this little project. We also made 'frogs on a log' with celery, cream cheese, and craisins. They were a hit! Once I get the pictures back from preschool I will add them to the post. It was a hectic but great day!

Zoo
Today we actually made it into the zoo. We tried on Monday (MLK Day) and I was not willing to fight the crowds and walk 3 miles from the parking lot to the entrance. So I told the kids I would bring them back soon. Today was wonderful, there was hardly anyone there and the weather was amazing. We met up with some great friends and enjoyed the day.
After a long day at the zoo. This was barely out of the parking lot.

It's Complete
Here is the after picture. The long desired pavers are finally finished. I love them, they look so nice and really complete the yard. There are still a few changes we want to make but they are small and easy projects.

Date Night
We finally had a date night. We had a great sushi dinner at a new restaurant down the street Otaku then headed out to a movie. It was nice to get a night out. We need to do more of these just us 2. We are lucky enough to have great parents that are willing and offer to watch our kiddos, for us to enjoy some time together.

Ugg Slippers
They finally came today! Aaron got me a pair for Christmas to replace my very old and worn out pair. I love them! Uggs aren't the prettiest slippers, but man are they comfy.

Tomorrow Tomorrow
Tomorrow is the BIG day. The pavers are going to be installed. It will be a 2 day process and as you can see, I'm REALLY excited. Here are some before pictures.
I got a little crazy today trying to clean up for tomorrow, but I just want it to look perfect. I think I might have some landscapers come in next week for a big clean up.
Super Saver
I have been doing Coupon Sense for quite a while now. Since August to be exact. The whole purpose was to save the $200.00 some where in the budget to pay for preschool so I didn't have to work more. And let me tell you...It sure has paid off. I am also somewhat addicted to getting free things and saving tons. I really hate if I'm at the store and forgot coupons or found items on sale that I know I have a coupon at home for. I limit myself to only going to Frys, Bashas, and CVS or I would make myself completely insane trying to go to too many stores. I'm sure I miss great deals but it isn't worth that much more work to me right now.
Check this out, I got all this for $3.56. Savings of 91%, I can't believe I ever paid full price at the grocery store. It almost makes me sick to think how much extra I have always paid for things. Yes, it takes a little extra time, but with the Coupon Sense website it is totally doable.

Moo
Today was dollar days at Superstition Dairy Farms. So we headed over for a few hours to enjoy the smell of fresh dairy air, animals, milk, and fun! There is a petting zoo, the boys absolutely loved this bunny that sat on the table the entire time we were there. We got to feed all the animals, take a hay ride tour of the dairy, enjoy some fresh milk from the milk bar. They have several different flavors to add to the milk...delish.
I had to post Lane's little milk mustache. He could be in an ad.
It was like paradise for little kids. And to be honest, I loved it too, the weather was perfect, the kids were happy, and we got to spend some good quality time together and with friends.

Nap Time
Today we all had a nap together in our bed, well I didn't sleep but rested for a little. I couldn't help but to take a picture (sorry for the quality, phone camera with an arm long reach), I love these little moments of sweetness with my boys. It took a little bit to get Lane to sleep but it was a success. They love when they get to share a bed. Soon we will be moving them in together and I will hopefully get to see this more frequently.

Shoe Cluster
So this Project 365 is going to get pretty deep into our every day lives. Considering this is being posted just in the nick of time for today. But this is a serious issue at our house. I'm not sure that the boys really care, but it drives me crazy, and it needs some solving soon. Running upstairs to get a pair of shoes is a pain, especially when we are on a shoe hunt for the littles just about every day. The shoe basket is running over and needs to be dumped every time we are looking for a certain pair. We also have them tucked away behind a chair if we think we might use them again the same day. Perhaps we have too many shoes. I am in need of some organizing HELP! My plan is to get a cute little bench with cubbies/baskets in the entry way so we each can have a cubbie with the shoes we wear most often. Think that will help? Any ideas would be great!

Pushing Through
Sometimes Lane tries to be like his big brother and push through the day with out a nap.
And some days he just can't quite make it.
This is something I don't want to forget about Lane. He insists when he is laying down or rocking with us in the chair that his blue blanket must cover his feet and they must be tucked in, and his green blanket is used to cover his body and for snuggling. He is very particular about it and it has to be done correctly before he will sleep or drink his milk. I love it!
